Bronx Familia Animal Shelter is a non-profit organization who rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes abandoned dogs on Crete, Greece.
Nikos Tsikalakis (read more) is the owner of the shelter and he have dedicated his whole life since 2013, where he rescued his first dog Bronx, to help and save as many lost souls as possible. The shelter is currently hosting 250 dogs, 2 cats, a horse, a sheep and a goat.

Mission
Our mission is to save and help as many abandoned dogs in Crete, Greece and be apart of solving the problem with stray dogs by rescuing, rehabilitate and rehoming them.
We are currently neutering and sterilizing all of our dogs and we have helped many families with dogs do the same.
We see every souls as equal and every soul should have the right to live a good life.
We are driven by a desire to put an end to animal cruelty not only on Crete, but in the whole world.
Vision
Our vision is that one day animals and humans can live among each other happily and safe.
There will be no more stray dogs, no more chain dogs and no more animal abuse.
Our dream is to give all the animals their voice back and until then we will be the voice they don't have.
