How is it possible to walk by a suffering animal and just leave it there? continue your day and life, well knowing this animal was crying for your help.

Thats simply not a possibility for me!

CREATING A HOME

''Every soul deserves a fur that knows a gentle cuddle. a mind that knows it is loved. a full stomach every single day. a name of their own. a place to call their HOME''

That is what Bronx is all about;

Creating a home for the voiceless until they find FOREVER

OUR STORY

Nikos rescued his first dog Bronx in 2013, he was kept in a chain because his previous owner was afraid of him, but Nikos took it upon himself to turn him into the best dog possible. Bronx was and still is Nikos soulmate dog.

After rescuing Bronx Nikos realized how many dogs who desperately needed his help and he couldn't just turn his back on them.

He moved into an abandoned house high up in the mountains of Ierapetra, here he spend every cent he earned on his dogs and walked for hours up the mountain with 40 kilos dog food in order to keep his dogs safe and sound... In 2018 he got the opportunity to buy a piece of land in the village of Kalo Chorio, it was pitch black when he arrived with his 36 dogs a warm night the first of July and the next morning he could finally see the beautiful landscape he now could call his own.

Today the shelter host 250 dogs, 2 cats, a horse, a sheep and a goat and Nikos is still planing on expand the place and have recently bought a new piece of land.

The shelter have become a safe haven for so many abandoned souls and Nikos still takes it upon himself to turn all of them into their best version possible.
