Unfortunately, her quiet nature means she often goes unnoticed at the shelter, but Nugget truly deserves to be seen and loved for the wonderful companion she is.

Nugget’s past wasn’t easy—she was once kept on a chain, but she has since been rescued and is now ready to find her forever home. She’s familiar with wearing a leash, harness, and collar, and enjoys peaceful walks. Nugget has been diagnosed with leishmaniasis and needs to take a daily tablet, but fortunately, the disease doesn’t seem to affect her in any noticeable way. She’s happy, healthy, and full of affection.
