Bella is truly a sweetheart – loving, gentle, and incredibly devoted to people. She actively seeks human closeness, adores being petted, and loves to snuggle up tight against her humans. For Bella, nothing compares to cuddling together, hearing soft words, and receiving kind attention.

Whether it’s going for a walk or dozing in the sun – Bella simply wants to be part of it all and feel like she belongs.

 

Bella once had a home. She grew up with a French family in Crete and lived a happy dog life: good food, lovely walks, plenty of cuddles – everything was perfect. But then the family moved back to France – without Bella. There was no more room for her. And so she found her way to our shelter.

 

Despite everything, Bella has never lost her trust in people. She opens her heart to anyone who approaches her with love and gives her affection as naturally as if she had never known heartbreak. She is ready to give her big heart away once more.

 

Because she already knows family life, she is house-trained, walks well on a leash, and wears her harness like a pro. After her time in the shelter, she might need a little help getting started, but she brings a solid foundation – and above all: lots of love.
