When Maja arrived at our shelter nearly three years ago with her tiny puppies, it was immediately clear what a wonderful and warm-hearted soul she is. She cared for her little ones with endless devotion – nurturing, patient, and full of love.

Maja is a gentle spirit who never pushes herself forward or seeks the spotlight. And yet, from the moment you meet her, you can feel the quiet warmth and affection she carries in her heart.

She shares her kennel with her three children, and in the daily hustle and bustle, Maja sometimes fades into the background. She always lets the others go first – whether it’s at mealtime, playtime, or when cuddles are being given out. But when things calm down, she’ll look at you with soft, hopeful eyes, waiting for a small invitation. And when you finally turn to her, she melts into the moment – so happy to receive your attention and affection.

What we wish for Maja is a home where she can finally be the center of someone’s world. A place where she receives the same unconditional love she so selflessly gives.
